AWARNESS= IS THE HUMAN ABILITY TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO SOMETHING, TO BE CONCIOUSLY PRESENT , TO BE MINDFUL. 

YOGA IS ATTENTION TRAINING . 


RELAXATION= IS THE CONSISOU RELEASE OF UNECESSARY TENSION IN THE BODY. 

How a pose looks on the outside is NOT as important as WHAT YOU ARE EXPERIENCING, 

You might think tat an advanced practitioner is the person who can perform the most extreme position or a very difficult pose. 

In reality an advanced practitioner is ONE WHO PRACTICES EACH POSE, NO MATTER HOW SIMPLE OR DIFFICULT , TO THE LIMITS OF HIS/HER ABILITY and WITH FULL AWARENESS plus a QUIET MIND and then brings that INNER KNOWLEDGE INTO THE DAILY EXERCISE. 

If you want to STRIVE  for ANYTHING in yoga , strive for an INCREASED ABILITY TO KNOW YOURSELF as you become more proficient with the pose, the breathing, and the meditation exercises , and bring that better understanding into EVERY INTERACTION and ACTIVITY in your daily life.
